Erva Stone and Design was founded in 2009. Since 2009, Erva Stone and Design has gained and maintained a high reputation for fabricating and installing the highest quality stones in commercial and residential building projects in and around DC Metropolitan area. Since its inception our team is committed to providing our customers with responsive service and customer vision focused design solutions for their kitchens and bathrooms that reflect their budget. Erva Stone has continued to successfully meet emerging challenges in the marketplace and consistently deliver highest quality products and professional services to its customers.

Erva Stone and Design’s business activities are focused on kitchen countertop and vanity top fabrications and installations and also supplying the customers all-wood cabinets (RTA, SEMI-CUSTOM OR FULLY CUSTOM). The company has facilities in place to provide its customers with the best quality products. Our slab warehouse and cabinet warehouse (Cabinet Zone) are both conveniently located in Lorton, VA. On the other hand, our retail showroom is centrally located in Fairfax to serve our customers in the D.C Metropolitan area.The company’s positive reputation among the business community has helped Erva Stone and Design develop strong relationships with local stone suppliers which enabled the team to hand select and purchase the highest quality stones for its customers.

Meet the Owner

Hasan Bakir is a Fairfax County resident since 2004. He was born and raised in Turkey. Being an immigrant, he learned at a young age that you have to work very hard for what you get. Hard work and determination have been the foundation of his success and those values are visible in the company and with its employees.

Hasan attended Strayer University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in International Business in 2010. Meanwhile he succesfully completed the Certification programs at Northern Virginia Community College for Public Relations and Promotion and Virginia International University for Small Business Management.It was during this time he started his career in construction business by working for local granite counter top companies. His hard work led him to learn all the aspects of the counter top trade from measuring to installation.

In 2009, Hasan started Erva LLC and worked mobile untill 2014 when he had an opportunity to buy the first location for the business which was a granite fabrication facility that Erva Stone and Design is currently running the main operation of warehousing and fabrication of granite and quartz counter tops. His continious success made the company's expantion even easier. In 2015, Erva Stone and Design's second location was added under the name of Cabinet Zone to offer more cabinet options to its customers. By the end of 2015, Hasan added a 3rd location as a retail showroom to the business in a central location which is close to Fairfax City. Today, company has over 15 employees and proudly serving the great Metropolian DC area.

Hasan is married and has a son. Hasan's motto for success in life, as well as business, to treat people with respect and honesty, work hard, and stay focused on what's important. With that, anything is possible!
